fox capture plan & bohemianvoodooによるスプリット・ミニアルバム"Color & Monochrome"において、[ジャズカテゴリーでのスプリット作品]を定着づけたPlaywrightレーベルが2017年に放つのは、なんと! “ネオ・ハードバップ~踊ろうぜ・バンド"としてのスタイルを完全に定着させたトライフォースと、日本を代表する“エンタメジャズバンド"カルメラによる最高に踊れるスプリット。

のっけから剛速球! 和を感じる粋なメロディと爆発的なリズムセクションが強烈! これぞTRI4THといった印象を残す「N.I.N.K.Y.O.」、続いて王道を踏襲しつつも現代版に昇華した鉄板のラテン・ハードバップ・チューン「追憶の赤い日々」はカルメラならではの哀愁がこみ上げるメロディにグッとくる楽曲! そして前作よりお約束となった!?スカのリズムが炸裂する「GAME CHANGER」、地を這うような黒いグルーブ感が堪らなくファンキーかつダンサブルな推し曲! さらにここで雰囲気を一転させる「ORANGE」は柔らかなエレピとギターの織りなすオケがまさにライトメロウ・ダンサーな味わい、フロント陣の奏でるメロディも優しく耳に残ります。そしてラストは、2バンドのコラボによる煽り煽られの大競演!
